Bentota can be described as an island destination along the coast to the southwest of Sri Lanka. The long Bentota Beach stretches north, which is later converted into a sand beach referred to as Paradise Island. Coral-rich dive sites include Canoe Rock. Galle is among the towns in the coastal region towards the southern part of Sri Lanka. It is well-known as the location of Galle Fort, the fortified old city, which was established along the shores by Portuguese colonists in the 16th century. Mirissa is a small town on the southern coast of Sri Lanka, located in the Matara District of the Southern Province. It is about 150 kilometres far from Colombo and is situated at an altitude of 4 metres above sea level. Tissamaharama was the capital of the Sinhalese Kingdom of Ruhuna at the time of the 3rd century B.C. A few buildings of that time are still in use today. Yala National Park is a huge expanse of grassland lagoons, and forests which border the Indian Ocean in southeast Sri Lanka. Ella is frequently referred to as a “lonely place”, and “‘waterfall is a popular town in Sri Lanka. Ella is a natural beauty, and with its lush greenery, mountains and waterfalls, it is stunning. Nuwara Eliya, which is located at an elevation of 1890m above the level of the ocean, is regarded as the highest urban area within Sri Lanka, and it is located below the highest peak located on the Island of Pidurutalagala which is also known by the name of Mount Pedro (2555 meters). It is part of the town called Kandy, a vibrant city built around a lake in the centre of Sri Lanka. It is classified as a World Heritage Site listed by UNESCO and is recognized as among the top sacred locations for worshipping in the Buddhist world. Sigiriya al referred to as “Lion Rock”, is famous for its fortress that lies within its walls and on its plateau. Beautiful frescoes grace the walls. A pair of gigantic feet of lions protect the entrance to the fortress. What You Need to Be aware of Prior to Travel Walking boots that are comfortable and safe are recommended for this excursion. Tourists visiting Buddhist and Hindu temples must remove their shoes and caps.

Day 1: Colombo - Bentota

You will be collected from your accommodation in Colombo with your very own individual guide, and then transferred to Bentota.

Bentota Beach: If you want to enjoy your vacation and indulge in the most natural and peaceful indulgence without restaurants or bars, This is the most tranquil and refreshing spot. It is Bentota Beach, which extends across 7 to 8 kilometers and is an image of tranquillity, peace, and cleanliness. Day 2 Bentota and Galle - Mirissa

After breakfast in Bentota, we will drive towards Galle City. Dutch Reformed Church was first built in the 1640s; its current church was built in 1752. Other amazing features include the organ and a massive pulpit that is made of the calamander tree and topped with an impressive hexagonal canopy. it The Santa Cruz and later, in 1625, expanded it by adding the watch tower and

three bastions, as well as the Fortaleza, to protect the harbor. After the

Galle visit, we'll head to Mirissa to spend the night.

 

Day 3 Mirissa Whale

Day 4: Mirissa - Thissamaharame - Yala

From Mirissa, you'll travel to

Thissamaharame after breakfast.

Tissa Wewa -The Lake, an artificial reservoir, is believed to

have been built in the 3rd century BC or at the hands of Mahanaga from Ruhuna

or by his succeeding Yatala Tissa of Ruhuna to help irrigate paddy fields and

provide water to the town of Tissamaharama. It was finally restored by 1871.

Tissamaharama Raja Maha Vihara: The

Tissamaharama Raja Maha Vihara is a renowned Buddhist temple located in

Tissamaharama, Southern Province of Sri Lanka. It was among the four main

Buddhist monasteries that were established throughout Sri Lanka after the

arrival of Arhant Mahinda Thera to Sri Lanka. The site of Tissamaharama Raja

Maha Vihara had been dedicated to the presence of Buddha, the Buddha himself.

He stayed for an hour in meditation together with the 500 arhats (individuals

who have achieved enlightenment) on his third trip to Sri Lanka. Tissamaharama

monastery was regarded as the most prestigious Buddhist education center in the

south of Sri Lanka from the 3rd century B.C. through the eleventh century A.D.

Until the 11th century AD. Tissamaharama Dagoba, which is situated within the

premises of this monastery, was among the biggest stupas in Sri Lanka. The

current main incumbent for Tissamaharama Raja Maha Vihara is Ven. Devalegama

Dhammasena Nayaka Thera. Following the Tissamaharama tour, you'll journey to

Yala.

 

Yala National Park is a vast expanse of grassland, forest,

and lagoons that border the Indian Ocean in southeast Sri Lanka. It is home to

wildlife, including elephants, leopards, and crocodiles, as well as many birds.

In the inland, Sithulpawwa is an ancient Buddhist monastery. Nearby caves have

ancient rock paintings. Southwest, Magul Maha Viharaya is also home to old

Buddhist ruinariums. Both are places of pilgrimage. Following the Park visit,

you'll be back in Tissamaharama for a night's stay.

Day 5: Tissamaharama - Ella

The next day, after breakfast, you'll travel to Ella.

Nine Arch Bridge: The Nine Arch Bridge in Ella is situated on the Demodara loop that extends for 91

meters and 24 meters in height. The gorgeous nine arches create an amazing

spot, particularly because it is situated in a dense forest and agricultural

landscape. In the distance, there is a thriving forest, and beneath, tea plants

are being grown.

Little Adam's Peak: Little

Day 6: Ella - Adisham - Ella

After breakfast, you will visit the

Adisham Bungalow. Adisham Bungalow - Adisham Hall, also known as Adisham

hall was conceived in the hands of R. Booth and F. Webster in Tudor and

Jacobean style. It was built with 10 acres (40,000 square meters) of property.

Adisham Hall played host to several prominent people from the community until

the death of Sir Thomas, and after that, it was transferred by Sedawatte Mills.

In 1961, the house was bought from the Roman Catholic Church and was later

converted into an abbey. The building is well-maintained, has period furniture

and fittings, and is open to guests. After your Adisham Bungalow visits, you'll

return to your hotel to enjoy the rest of the day.

Day 7: Ella - Nuwara Eliya

The following day of the tour, you will

be visiting Nuwara Eliya. It is situated elevated to 1890 meters above sea

level. It is the most elevated urban area in Sri Lanka.

Horton Plains: Horton

Plains, located in Sri Lanka, is the chillyest and windiest area in the nation.

It is comprised of ecosystems that include Montane evergreen grasslands,

forests, marshy lands, and an aquatic ecosystem. Because of the wide variety of

endemic flora and animals, Horton Plains was declared to be a UNESCO World

Heritage Site on 30th July 2010.

Tea Factory, find out where your morning

tea starts by heading to the Pedro Tea Estate, situated approximately 3.5km to

the east of Nuwara Eliya, while in transit to Kandapola. It is possible to take

constructed in 1807 by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe near the Temple of the

Tooth. Through the years, the lake diminished in dimensions. It is now a

protected lake, and fishing is prohibited. There are a myriad of stories and

legends related to the lake. One is that the helm of the king utilized the tiny

island in its middle to bathe in the lake. It was also connected to his palace

via a secret tunnel.

 

Kandy View Point: Go up the hill near

Kandy Lake to arrive at Kandy Viewpoint and enjoy an unbeatable city view. A

Day 9: Kandy - Sigiriya

After a jolly breakfast, you will then be taken to Sigiriya

Pidurangala Rock - Pidurangala Rock is

Sigiriya Rock as it is just slightly lower. Pidurangala is a well-known place

to watch sunrises since it offers 360-degree views of not only the valleys but

also Sigiriya Rock.

SIGIRIYA ROCK - during the 5th century, King Kashyapa

was a keeper of Lions Rock by building an imposing palace on its top and

well-designed defenses, with moats and ramparts constructed around the Rock.

The Rock has its unique characteristics due to its design, which is unique to

any other place on the entire island. The irrigational techniques of water

gardens and archaeological techniques of the lion carving on the Rock's

entrance are valuable and are still being used. If you climb the steps, you'll

see vibrant frescoes that are decorated with original female paintings. The

mirror wall is a different attraction in Sigiriya, where you can find poetry

written by the people of Sigiriya. Emotions, love, and irony were the major

themes that inspired their poems. Sigiriya is a memorial to some of the
